Sandra A. Roessner

Sandra Arlene Roessner, 81, of New Bremen, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, at St. Rita's Hospital in Lima.

Born on June 30, 1944, in Richmond, Indiana, Sandra was the beloved wife of the late Donald Leo Roessner. The couple married on June 2, 1962, and shared 47 years of marriage until Donald’s passing in 2009. She later married Benito Rodriguez, who passed away in January 2023.

Sandra is survived by her children and their spouses (in birth order): Gordon Scott Roessner and his wife Vanessa, Brandon Lee Roessner and his wife Veronica, Daneila Kristine Suchland and her husband Todd, and Stephanie Jo Sommer and her husband Scott; her brother, Dean Napier; her grandchildren: Franchesca (and husband David Patterson) and their step children Kaylin, Tristan, and Kayden, Nickey Roessner, Austin Suchland (and wife Megan), Derek Roessner, Kyleigh Chaney (and husband Ben), Hunter Suchland (and wife Savana), Journey Suchland, Ty Sommer, and Max Sommer; and her nine great-grandchildren: Magnolia, Juniper, Penelope, Lincoln, Jadith, Capri, Violet, Milo, and Leif. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Eldon.

She will be deeply missed by her extended family, many friends and her church family.

Private family services will be held with inurnment in the German Protestant Cemetery in New Bremen.
