Born on October 6, 1950, in New Bremen, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Henrietta R. (Schwartz) Wente. On July 1, 1972, she married Michael L. Will, and they shared 38 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2010. Connie is survived by her children: Todd (Jennifer) Will of Middletown, OH; Trisha (Brian) Roth of Hendersonville, TN; and Tracy (Nathan) Pool of Perrysburg, OH; along with her cherished grandchildren: Maddie, Ben, Katie, Alex, Lilly, Eli, and Max. A graduate of New Bremen High School and a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Connie was a talented and compassionate woman who brought creativity and care to everything she did. She worked at Francis Furniture, Lawler's Flowers, and ran her own interior decorating business, and also served as an aide at New Bremen Schools, touching the lives of many children with special needs. In addition, she found a love for volunteering as part of the New Bremen Rescue Squad for many years. She found joy in gardening, flowers, coffee dates with friends, and celebrating the magic of Christmas-but nothing meant more to her than her family. Her children and grandchildren were her world, and her love for them knew no bounds. Connie will be remembered for her generous heart, joyful spirit, and the light she brought into the lives of everyone who knew her.
